Dead Letter Office: Happy Phantom
Being a ghost in the Sims 3 isn't really much of an "Eternal Rest", as it turns out.. It has serious (and not-so-serious) ramifications. In this installment of Dead Letter Office, we take a look at how Brian has been keeping busy in his new career as Daisy Supporter.
It has some unpleasant moments, like when your son removes the gate and surrounds the graveyard with a ghost-proof fence to keep you from leaving. Just because he wants everyone to get as much sleep as they can while raising three kids.
But that's okay. At least people don't freak out when you do play video games on your son's computer. I mean, hey, you bought it for him! Heck, in the new house, there's two computers on the ground floor, so you rarely are in danger of waking anyone up.
Three words. Creepiest. Chatroom. Ever.
At least a ghost can still enjoy the food from the leftovers of a double wedding party that didn't clean up the buffet... though it is a little late to be eating healthy.
And sometimes, in the dark night, while you stand looking at your home while standing near your cold grave, your son and heir will walk out, give you a hug, and tell you how much he loves you, and how much he misses you. It's at that point a ghost realizes... Death isn't so bad.

Aww, poor Brian! *comforts* The guy went from free roaming ghost to caged ghost in two easy steps. :-( (Although I'm debating doing something equally as mean to my Diobhell ghosts... they're eating the damned food out of the fridge for goodness' sake! *flails* THEY'RE FRAKIN' DEAD!! *rolls her eyes*)
Well, except when you ignore the 2 computers on the ground floor and go and play on the computer in your son's room. *snickers* Serves him right for fencing you in.
Aww, glad to see he still loves his dad. *sniffles*
Dawwww. Poor Brian. He seems lonely. So ... putting up a fence keeps the ghosts from roaming? Am I understanding this correctly?
@Angelia: Yes, but it has to be total. The "zone wall" at the edge of a lot will not block a ghost.
Rule #1 No computers in bedrooms.

I'm with Tara, never put a computer in a bedroom. I learned that one in TS2.
Good to know you can contain your simmie ghosts.
Sorry but ghosts can be a nuisance, regardless of how loved they are/were in life!
